Outstanding Disney Cruise

Sail Date: May 18, 2015

Reviewed: 2 years ago

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Balcony

This was our second Disney Cruise and was, overall, a great cruise. One thing to be aware of, in the past DCL has taken children just under 3 into their Oceaneer club if they were potty trained. That policy has changed, there are no exceptions, they have to be at least 3 years of age, if they are a day under they won't allow them in which was disappointing for granddaughter who is 4 weeks under the age of 3 and is potty trained but was not allowed in.

Ship Quality
The Dream is a beautiful ship.
Food and Dining
Food was great especially for as many as they feed in a day.
Service and Staff
All of our service staff were wonderful
It is probably time to retire Villains but overall DCL does a great job on entertainment
Children's Programs
They made a recent policy change where they won't allow children under 3 who are potty trained into the Oceaneer club which is different than what is all over the internet. it was a big disappointment for our granddaughter who turns 3 in 4 weeks.
Onboard Activities
There is always plenty of outdoor things to do on a Disney Cruise
Destinations and Excursions
We did the Dolphin Encounter at Blue Lagoon and Castaway Cay is always a blast
Cabin / Stateroom
We had 5 rooms in a row and were able to open the veranda door between them giving us a 5 cabin balcony which was great.
Nassau, Bahamas
Nothing special about Nassau but Blue Lagoon and Dolphin Encounter was great.
Castaway Cay (Disney Private Island)
What a great island and experience, Disney does it right.
