Maybe not the best ship for a first time cruiser.

The staff goes above and beyond. They always were happy to help and with a smile.

do not sail on this ship if you're a vegetarian or vegan. also, you MUST eat at the specialty dining, and those reservations will be sold out by the time you get on the ship so reserve In advance.

Forward Caribe deck was quiet.

Def use your daily calender of events! Keep an eye daily on your account charges & have them corrected at customer service on a daily basis. We had many overcharges that had to be corrected.

If you're doing Alaska, see the naturist and hopefully it's Michael. Go to the shows, relax and don't sweat the small stuff. This is a good ship, with good staff, and focus on the cruise!

It's a really large ship! Find the places you want to be your comfort zones for exploring, eating, drinking, and relaxing and enjoy being there without worrying you need to stay up on all the activities offered daily every hour.

Book early, many of the excursions and dining were not available. Also the “shipmate locator” works fairly well, just a bit confusing on the app to get to the section to find your friends.

Skagway Table 295 is next to a window. Listen to the Naturalist on Deck 16 at 5am for Endicott Arm. Listen to the Naturalists talks- so informative and inspiring. Avoid the host at Gigi’s Pizzeria, he’s the opposite of nice. Laundry rooms are comped at the moment- not coin-operated yet so take advantage!

To be prepared to feel sad on last day on the ship. That was my experience on my last day, I was a bit sad leaving my stateroom room has it become my comfort place for the last 7nights on the ship. Saying goodbye to all the crew that made my vacation personal that they touched my heart.

We enjoyed 17th floor forward part of the ship- close walk to the sanctuary and close to the pool.
Oasis1World
Avoid the new big ships. No place to breathe!

Wait until they figure out all of the bugs with their app and Medallion to book.
RiseUp79
Keep an eye on room charges. Even with drink packages we were inadvertently charged several times for items that should be included, so we had to get the charges removed.
lhering216
get a cabin somewhat close to the elevators.
