Review summary

I was more hopeful about the cruise. Was a celebration of our 25th wedding anniversary. I alerted everyone, signed up for a special dinner and was told I would get a call. Never heard again. I called and was told the event was over. Nice anniversary gift.

Embarkation

Took a Lyft to the port from our hotel, driver got us right up to the front. Checked in, sat down, about 30 minute slater we were walking on board the ship. From that poin ton we were on our own. No one (apparent) to ask for directions of where to go or what to do next.

We dined in the Crown Grill and Sabbatini's. Crown was very good. Excellent service, excellent food (steak & lobster). Just wonderful (well...) Sabbatini's was nice, not great, not terrible. Now, Crown - our dining that night was to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. I had alerted my travel agent at United, I alerted Princess, I alerted guest services when we boarded. I called and book the Chef's dinner (you can't pre-book this event). I was told I was on the list and I would get a call for the date and time. I never heard from them or anyone else again. I called to ask and was told the event was over already. Upset doesn't describe our feelings.
