Reserve Collection which included separate dining was well worth the money. My wife is gluten-free and they were great at accommodating her needs.

Unfortunately, this was my first and last cruise with the Princess cruise lines. I felt that the staff and food was subpar all the way around.

The Discovery Princess Alaska cruise was fun and enlightening. It was great seeing over 3,100 new cruisers and 600 cruisers under 18. The Discovery Princess team is amazing.

We have been on 3 princess cruises, a royal carribean, and carnival. I have always put Princess on top of them all as being the best cruise line, until this one. I found it to be the same. I was disappointed in how the staff’s English needed improving. We could not understand them. The room was too small. Some of the wait staff was not friendly and some areas I felt there was not enough wait staff. I loved how everything was made so easy with the medallions. It made everything so personable.

Every thing was the Best ,except the internet, best not to even buy the package!!

Nice cruise, but somewhat boring if you been to Alaska before. Nothing new. Fun excursions though. Princess needs to update their cruising model. Getting dated. Newest ship Discovery is the same as all the others. Nothing new. Food was middle of the road, crew were excellent and very polite. Guest Naturalist was excellent and made the cruise into Endicott Arm memorable.

Princess Cruises is not truthful about the capacity of the ship. According to its website, the ship has 1,830 cabins and a 3,660 passenger capacity. That's totally misleading and that's why there's so much overcrowding in the dining areas and a lack of tables. The 3,660 was computed at two passengers per cabin but that's wrong, especially during holidays and summer vacation, when there are a lot of families onboard occupying three or four to a cabin. If experienced cruisers notice this, how much more should Princess Cruises, which is in the business of cruising, should know this. A simple calculation will tell you the actual passenger count could be close to 4,500 or even 5,000; thus the overcrowding. And be careful of the picture packages and digital copies sold by the Photo Gallery. The digital copies are only about 1MB big each and this resolution doesn't give good quality 10" X 10" or larger pictures. Problem is the staff doesn't tell you this. Princess cruises is not truthful.

My family all had a wonderful time on the Discovery Princess.

The scenery was spectacular. The tourists traps were just that.

This was our first cruise to a place that was not warm, so it was a little different not being able to hang out on the deck a lot. It was very chilly and rainy 60% of our cruise. With that being said, the crew did a pretty good job of keeping the activities flowing. I liked to sit and people-watch above the piazza.

Overall, it was what I expected and very pleased with the experience. In all honestly, I doubt I would take a ship of this size on a warm weather cruise, the wet cold weather is a great equalizer, people stay under cover and inside. On the final day it was sunny and relatively warm, the sun deck was crazy. I feel that Princess does a great job managing all the people, obviously they have done this a long time and have it figured out. In the end, you create your own enjoyment and memories, we achieved that. Kudos on the Medallion program, pretty slick program!!

Bad ship, bad cruise line. This was our last Princess cruise.

Overall..... book your Alaskan cruise with Princess...having been on 2 previous Alaskan cruises.... this one was far and above the rest. Outstanding ship, crew, itinerary....

Only our 3rd cruise but was the best one yet! In Juneau, the Helicopter ride to the Mendenhall glacier is a must, once in a lifetime adventure. The staff and crew were phenomenal. Tons of entertainment both on ship and off.

This was on my husbands bucket list and I really wasn't into it but went anyway, now it is on my bucket list to return lol

Our cruise to Alaska was very enjoyable and memorable for our family (2 parents, 2 18+ children). The experience aboard the Discovery Princess was better than I expected and the ports of call for this Inside Passage cruise did not disappoint.

I booked this cruise at the last minute, and was very pleasantly surprised at the quality and aesthetics of the ship, the friendliness and helpfulness of the crew, and the amount of activities offered. I took part in a lot of the activities and found them to be entertaining, informative and fun. This was a repositioning cruise so itinerary was only one way, however I would take this cruise again if available in the future.

Fantastic short cruise - that almost felt like a longer voyage. The passenger load were typical Princess folks and the overall experience was not different from any other Princess trip. Lucky enough to participate in the Chef's Table one night, see whales and other marine life on sea days, and enjoy the Sanctuary complete with steamer blankets. Would take this trip again!

For a first time cruiser I was nervous at first. but from the booking process until I disembarked I loved every moment of the time I spent. I am definitely hooked.
