Unfortunately, this was my first and last cruise with the Princess cruise lines. I felt that the staff and food was subpar all the way around.

The only food remotely well done was the specialty restaurants. Everything else was the same, day after day and very bland. It was hard finding something on the menu that was appetizing.

Our room steward was good, outside of that, I found most of the boat staff to be completely incompetent at their job. For instance, when we asked boat staff if there was a library on board, they send us to deck 5 only to find out there is no library on board. This scenario was VERY indicative of our time on the ship.
Ship Quality

Besides the constant smell of sewer in the elevator area of deck 16, the ship was nice and clean.
Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was clean, the bathroom however was tiny.
I believe you because we had the same experience on Diamond Princess last January. Also, I am platinum with Princess. I am giving them one more chance. I am booked on Discovery in October. This will be my 40th cruise with all lines.
