The embarkation process is ridiculous !!! One giant long line and no place for platinum or elite members to go check in separately. The dining reservations are also ridiculous !!! You can't ever book a table at a specialty dining room, but when you go there, they let you in and all the tables are empty. They said its because passengers book tables and then don't cancel them. They should do a better job of managing this issue.

We had a great time during our cruise aboard the Princess Discovery booked using . We have booked cruises before using other travel agencies and cruise lines but we are very happy with our experience with and Princess that we are now actually thinking of going on another cruise sometime next year using and Princess once again.

Great, short trip. This is a great option for people looking for a quick getaway.

Didn't love this cruise. Princess has gone down hill, sadly. Too many people, lines for everything, little access to specialty restaurants, mediocre at best.

Overall good cruise, some few issues with Customer Service Staff put a bad taste. Then cancelled excursion that we were looking forward to and no comparable available option. We love the relaxation aspect of the cruise and enjoyed the food options.

The seas were smooth with perfect weather. Ship is beautiful and is kept in ship shape. All the staff were very friendly. Food was good. Premier package and Reserve Class are worth the extra charges. Made our experience very smooth.

We really enjoyed this cruise. The Medallions on Princess made all process go so smoothly

Had lots of fun. Plenty of food and drink. Always busy watching entertainment, bands, relaxing in sun. Definitely would recommend.

Overall I'm glad we did this ship and this itinerary, but it definitely wasn't our favorite cruise.

I was happy with my first cruise. However, after I logged a complaint about my contact at I did not receive a bon voyage call and no one ever returned my phone calls (3 of them) after I complained. I believe I was calm and professional about my concerns.

THIS IS ONE OF PRINCESS'S NEWEST SHIPS. IT HAS BEEN STRIPPED DOWN OF PRINCESS AMENITIES. THE CABINS DO NOT EVEN HAVE PAPER AND PEN ANYMORE TO USE. NO BAR SOAP. ALL LIQUID SOAPS FOR SHOWERING AS WELL. HAD TO ASK FOR ICE BUCKET. TV'S HARD TO OPERATE. NO BAGS {REALLY!} FOR PEOPLE WHO PURCHASE ANY SHOP MERCHANDISE. VERY LITTLE ITEMS TO CHOSE FROM WITH PRINCESS LOGO ON THEM. TOO HIGH END FOR LOCALS TO USE THE SHIP FOR A WEEK OF VACATION. THE FOOD? REALLY A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. ALL DIFFERENT TYPES OF MEAT HAD GRIZZLE ON THEM. SMALL BROKEN BONES IN THE CHICKEN PIECES BECAUSE THE CARVING STAFF IS TRYING TO MAKE CHICKEN PIECES SMALLER. SOME ITEMS NOT ABLE TO KNOW WHAT TYPE OF DISH IT WAS. PRINCESS REALLY GONE DOWN HILL. OLDER CRUISERS KNEW THE DIFFERENCE. MAYBE YOUNGER CRUISERS WILL ACCEPT THE STRIPPED DOWN CHANGES BUT NOT US OLDER CRUISERS. WILL LOOK TO OTHER CARRIERS TO SEE IF THEY HAVE CHEAPENED THEIR SHIP LINE PRODUCTS AS PRINCESS HAS DONE.

We enjoyed the cruise. Was an older crowd of people, many our age. There weren't many children on the cruise. Overall, we had a restful time and enjoyed the cruise. Might even do it again, but hopefully on a smaller ship.

This was a wonderful cruise. Our cabin was beautifully appointed and large. Dining rooms were not as elegant as other ships. Food was fair to good. Entertainment was wonderful with many different venues. Elevators were horrible. Long waits and 95% of the time very crowded.

This was an outstanding cruise and if this same route (6 nights - Vancouver to San Pedro), I would highly recommend. This cruise is setup especially for wine lovers as they have extra sessions ($39 each) that let you taste several wines from specific vineyards. Also very good accompanying food is provided with the wine. Lots of wine lovers on board, but this cruise is for anyone. The Princess staff are excellent in every way possible.

We have been to Alaska several times. The stops are not new to us which is ok. we know what to expect. The highlight of our trip was the fishing as last time we came to Alaska we couldn't go salmon fishing as it was bad. Also my husband won the last day BINGO Jackpot, that he spit with another winner!!!

First time on a Princess ship. Was ok. Was a little disappointed of ship given it was "new". Food was fine. Our head waiter was very nice; 5+. Our guy who made the room daily was GREAT!!! Definitely want to go back to Alaska when weather is better

Our expectations were exceeded! The ship is impressive, incredibly designed - never seemed crowded. The staff was the best I have experienced - the customer service was impeccable. We loved the food, the ports, the tours offered and the embarkation. This is highly recommended for any experienced or first time cruise passengers.

All in all, we had a great time! June Cook was an excellent advisor. She helped pick us the perfect place for a stateroom considering the size of the ship. The food was great! The drinks were well put together and the service was just exceptional. I would definitely use Cruises again as well as the Princess Cruise Line.

Food and service were excellent. Clean and new ship and cabin.
