Review summary

All in all, we had a great time! June Cook was an excellent advisor. She helped pick us the perfect place for a stateroom considering the size of the ship. The food was great! The drinks were well put together and the service was just exceptional. I would definitely use Cruises again as well as the Princess Cruise Line.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Dining rooms were great. We went to one specialty restaurant and had good food and service. The buffet however was a little dissatisfying. The selection of food was incredible, but due to the amount of people there, it was hard to find seating.

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We enjoyed all the stage shows to include. The comedian, illusionist and full musical with dancing.

Service and Staff

The room steward kept our room impeccable.

Cabin / Stateroom

Room was on starboard side of shop. It was just the right size and comfortable as far as temperature. It was kept very clean by our steward

Ship tip

Because the ship is so large, get a stateroom midship. Our room was midship very close to the stairs and elevators. It was perfect.

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington

5 out of 5
We spent a day in Seattle on our own.

Ketchikan, Alaska

We went on the rain forest excursion. We learned plenty about the forest, its plants and animals. We saw a baby bear that was treed by its mother for protection. We were also up close and personal with a bald eagle, owl and hawk that cannot go back to the wild due to injuries.

CRUISE ENDICOTT ARM & DAWES GLACIER

5 out of 5
As I understand, we were able to get closer to the glacier than the last cruise was able to. It was impressive.

Juneau, Alaska

We went on a smaller boat whale watching. Saw 2 different whales.

Skagway, Alaska

We took the train up to the summit and back. The scenery was amazing.

Vancouver (Canada Place), British Columbia

5 out of 5
We did an excursion through trip advisor. We took a seaplane tour of Vancouver then went to the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. I would recommend both to anyone that goes to Vancouver.
