Stay away from this ship.... Best tip I can give.... Princess has really gone down hill- it has been 13 years since I last cruised Princess and I can safely say it will be at least that long before I sail them again- if ever... They are old school and not keeping up their food quality or their ships.... Time has pasted this company by....

Cannot recommend the Crown Princess, food was poor, dining rooms small, buffet food stations confined, Embarkation areas too small, ramps are dangerous... realize that this is an old ship that will be dry docked early next year...maybe then it will be something to recommend !

This is a moderately large ship. Get a ship map for each traveler when checking in as you'll need one to navigate the maze that some decks provide. They usually give one per cabin at check in but will provide more if asked.

Book you tours ahead of time because they cost more if you book on the ship! They nickel and dime you for EVERYTHING, so be prepared.

She is due for her dry dock makeover in March 2018, so there is a little rust on the balconies & a little stain on the common area furniture. Ignore it! She’s still comfortable! Keep in mind how your home would look in water 24/7 with vacationers 24/7.

If one of the ports of call is Costa Maya I suggest you take a short tram ride to get away from the pier area and go to Mahahual. A lot of shops, restaurants, etc. along the beach.
