Review summary

Nice cruise, great service, food very good but please start marketing to the maybe 50 to 60 year crowd instead of 70-90's! Cancel that horrible magic show that does not make any sense whatsoever and have karaoke nightly along with some great dance bands. Also the onboard shopping needs to improve. Not much selection. I would like a refund on the nightmare transfer bus ride!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Accommodated me regarding food allergies and ordered dinner in the Michelangelo Dining Room coordinating with Head Waiter the day before to assure that I was not served anything to cause allergic reaction. Food was very good.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Very much geared to older crowd, such as bingo and games. The Magic Show was horrible and I left. This is the same show that Royal Caribbean cancelled due to such bad feedback. Karoke only 3 days, Start catering more to younger crowd below 80 years!

All staff were excellent and cabin steward kept the cabin clean and in tip top shape

Cabin / Stateroom

Very good, no problems but beds need to be replaced. Not comfortable and when put together as a king sized bed there is a big gap in the middle and lumpy mattress.

Ship tip

Coffee Cards are a great bargain.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very good and fast but I have not been able to speak to anyone about the most horrible bus ride from Quebec City to Montreal. It was 4 hours due to traffic and the air conditioning system was broken so we had to endure about a 90 degree temperature with no ventilation and many older passengers looks very pale and ill. Multiple complaints to bus driver who just kept saying it did not work. Should have contracted his company and requested a different bus. The cost of this transfer was over $60!

We are in the lower range you recommend (well one of us -lol) and love our times on Princess. Looking forward to another dozen cruises before we reach your upper limit. Not feeling old yet!
