A clean and very beautifully appointed ship.

we really enjoyed princess cay, st marteen, st thomas and grand turk. the food was good not great. the workers on board were really good, everyone was polite and hardworking. the ship did not have a lot of open spaces except the top of the ship. there were more than enough deck chairs for everyone. the sanctuary was really nice and i would highly recommended spending your days at sea there.

We felt like we stayed 7 days at a luxury hotel at sea. The only negative was the express disembarkation process, which was not as organized as it could have been. Nevertheless, that was a small problem compared to the great week we had at sea.

The ship is new and it was a bit confusing on learning where everything was located. it wasn't until day 5 that we felt like we knew our way around.

This was a mother-daughter cruise and because of that it was magical! I have been on other Princess cruises and although the Crown Princess was nice, the service was lacking. I had not been so nickled and dimed before. Everything seemed to have an extra charge. My bill was enormous - it would be difficult not to spend at least $500 extra on the cruise ship. The food was fine, especially Sabitinis - you have to go to this restaurant if you want the best meal of your life. We had a great time despite the few negatives. I will try Royal Caribbean next.

I've never cruised before so I can't compare to another ship. It was a beautiful ship, friendly staff, great service. There were four of us sharing a stateroom/suite and a cot was brought in for the 4th person. It was OK but a little crowded. We folded the cot up during the day. Glad we had the balcony.

The ship was super and all aspects of side trips, shows, etc were well planned. The staff in all areas were great.

The ship was very clean and the cabin boy was great. Our room was always clean. Our waiter was very nice. Some of the people on the ship were very rude and pushy.

The ship was clean. The food was just OK. The attendants seemed unhappy and pressured. The cabins were decent. The itinerary was great. We enjoyed the stops that were selected for this cruise. It was hard to get info about the ports (i.e. transportation into town) if a ship's excursion was not used. We had a serious medical emergency half way through the trip. We do commend the port agents that Princess used. The hospital used in St. Petersburg was excellent. Overall, I guess I would tell people to consider this cruise, but check the amenities of other cruise lines too. This was not a great cruise, just an OK cruise. This was not as nice as another cruise we took last year with a different cruise line.

We recently sailed the Crown Princess and really enjoyed the cruise. The ship is beatiful and very claen. The staff were usually attentive but at times it was difficult to get a drink waiter when on deck or eating lunch. The deck restaurants for breakfast and lunch were very crowded but the selections were great. We loved all of the ports except for the British Virgin Islands. Our excursion seemed to revolve around stops to purchase items and we did a hike and beach excursion. We did 'anytime' dining for dinner and loved all of the meals. We did not attend anything but one show and went to one club. We also did not attend any classes. This cruise had a variety of age groups aboard. Overall, A very good cruise that I would recommend.

I'm not a fan of "personal" dining which in my opinion turns out to be the opposite. I've seen a dramatic dropoff in service quality in every facet of the cruise since the tipping has become automatic. Many things that were once standard are now "extra cost" options. All in all the cruise experience has moved from being a "special" experience to a "commodity" experience. Cruise ship commodities are following the airlines example - charge more, give less.

the Crown Princess is a very large ship, but never seems crowed. Beautifully decorated. Extremely friendly staff. Lots of swimming pools and chairs.

This was our 1st cruise so didn't know what to expect. It was a great experience, but could have been better with more up front planning of the itinerary on our part.

The Crown Princess is huge, but there was ample pool deck space and common areas for all 3,200 passengers. We never felt cramped.
