Review summary

Wonderful staff mostly. Fun activities. Good food - although not as vegetarian friendly as I'd like. That said, ver accommodating in the dining room when possible. Attractive boat. Entertainment eh - although I didn't do the music stuff, so maybe it's good?? Lots of bars.

Embarkation

LONG lines. A bit confusing - didn't catch the spot to give our luggage in. : (

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
More vegetarian options please!! Maybe put meat on the side for some things, like pasta or rice dishes so vegetarians can eat them too. Also, the veggie burger at the Salty Dog was awful. There were some on the buffet the last night though that were faculous - please replace with those!!! Lastly, the vegetarian options on the menus in the dining rooms weren't very good at times - steamed veggies are graet, but a few florets as a whole meal? Odd.

Onboard Activities

The naturalist was amazing. Game shows are fun.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
OK. One comedian was useless (the Irish guy) - lots of insults rather than funny. Didn't catch the music acts.

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
My 12 year old boys don't want to do crafts, so they did not use the children's services often. They would have loved open play for skee ball, etc. Maybe allow that for those who aren't in to the programming.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Everyone except our room steward were great. The steward did not want us to have our beds together to make a queen. He said it wasn't safe because of the pullmen beds. That has never come up before. He also grumbled that the bed was hard to make because of the configuration. That said, he did track us down with clothes he thought we left behind accidentally, which was nice. Also, the Internet Cafe person hunted me down when I left my Mac in the cafe which is incredibly thoughtful!!!

Cabin / Stateroom

Tight! But that's a given. Not enough outlets. Tiny tiny shower. Great storage!! Amazingly conmfortable bed and pillow. Incredible!!

Ship tip

They are great with accommodating requests, nearly all of the staff is polite, eat at dining rooms when you can - buffets get redundant and have fun!
