Terrible cruise experience, main dining food is bland. Service is slow. Tables empty but long waiting lines.
Embarkation
1 out of 5
No clear direction on delivering bags to Princess. Then waiting in one line to the next line to get on board. It felt like herding cattle. We left 1.5 hours late.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
1 out of 5
I could cook better. Medium rare is like well done. Food had no flavor. Tasted like they steam seafood and was bland. Dining room makes those with reservation wait. Many empty table but people are waiting. Takes too long for food to arrive.
Onboard Activities
1 out of 5
Pingpong tables are not aligned and room light is dim.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
All shows were good except for magician.
Children's Programs
No children
Service and Staff
1 out of 5
Missed the chocolate in bed, animal towels, stewards should ask how day is going and can they make the stay any better?
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Washing machine and dryer are broken.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Outlet spacing too close, cannot plug multiple cell phones
Ship tip
Better medallion app functionality. Difficult to book dining reservation. Would be nice for app to give directions to a specific location.
Gave ship quality a "4" and comment was because the washer and dryers weren't working?? I don't go on cruise and worry if the washers and dryers are functioning. I bring enough clothes so I don't have to depend on the washer and dryers. I love Princess!!!!
As far as I know Princess doesn’t do towel animals, we’re older adults and find it unnecessary. A cruise is what you make it. If you go with lower expectations, you’ll be pleasantly surprised, if you go with higher expectations you’ll complain about everything!
You’re entitled to your opinion but the nature of some of your complaints wouldn’t put me off this ship. 1 star for service because you didn’t get a chocolate in the bed (??) and they didn’t make towel animals. The staff work so hard and this is what you focus on. Just seems overly picky and harsh.
