The ship arrived late, plus not enough shuttles were available to take the people to downtown Victoria. We have to wait more than 30' under the rain & cold weather. Our plans were put upside down by Crown Princess.

Thanks for sharing your cruise with us.

All Princess ships have propeller shafts, but I heard the newer generation ships will have azipods. The ship is due for dry dock in Sept to fix the propulsion issue. Also, I heard that all people who are cruising on Crown Princess were notified of issue, so it should not be a surprise that this is happening.

So sorry your Alaskan trip wasted. I would reach out to risk management to get FCC for another trip.

It's not part of cruising when they know about their issues well in advance. It's just a bad cruise line with bad executives.

Appreciate your feedback. Sorry you missed the ports of call. Glad you enjoyed the rest of the cruise.

Sorry the ports were canceled, but that’s just a part of cruising

Willwork, cancellations occur when the ship can not make the speed required to arrive in a timely manner. It seems to be happening a lot more recently, probably due to the ships just sitting around without maintenance. I do not know much about azipods since my main experiences are the old shaft system, but I wonder about the maintenance on azipods what with them being submerged all the time.

Their propulsion system is not working properly and they have known it for a while. They are ripping g you and everyone else off. Sorry for your disappointment. They'd not invest in their maintenance and this is the result.

Well....Why did they cancel the ports? We can't feel sorry for you if we don't know the reason. They never cancel ports just to upset guests. They lose a lot of money when they cancel.
