Join the Costa Club already long before your cruise. We unfortunately missed out on the member benefits because we joined AFTER our first cruise

Take your own water. They charge for water, ice-cream, pizza. No ice tea or juices....

Book your dinner time in advance or you will be waiting in line for 2 hours to book it or change your reservation on the ship.

Do not expect much especially the food. Also you should be prepared to be nickle and dimmed for everything and don't forget to bring any simple cold remedy as they will not have anything on-board for sale Nothing not even aspirin.
