Review summary

We thoroughly enjoyed the veranda with our room.  It was wonderful have morning coffee while still in your pajamas.  The room attendants, servers, etc. were fabulous.  The upper management, not so much.  The Activities Director was a little arrogant and obnoxious to say the least, while the Cruise Director reminded us of a used car salesman.

In order to tour the bridge of the ship, you have to pay.  All photos are now $25.00, regardless of the size of the photo.  We had a gratuities included package, yet every time we looked at our bill we were charged a gratuity, on something like purchasing a Spa package.  We had to pay a gratuity to sit in the steam room, why?

When we purchased this cruise we also were given $350 on board credit.  The day before we left for the cruise I contacted our travel agent, and we were assured we had receievd the on board credit, pre-paid gratuities, etc. Once on board we found we were only given $50 on board crryedit, so even before we left San Juan we were on the phone.  By the end of the cruise we still had not received our credits in their entirety.

We had similar issues last year with Celebrity on this exact same ship.  We felt and second chance was warranted to we went again...it will NEVER happen again.

Ship tip

British Tortola, St. Kitts, St. Thomas and Dominica were wonderful. Did not like Martinique at all as it was dirty, very expensive and the majority of the vendors required you to pay in Euros. If you get to St. Kitts, swim with the dolphins as it is a lifetime thrill. We snorkled in St. Thomas.
