Review summary

It was a pleasure cruising on a line that still values the little things:  a shrimp cocktail fork with your shrimp cocktail, a news digest every day, a Captains party where the Captain actually shakes everyone's hand, an opportunity for a picture with the Captain, chocolates on the bed each night.  Those things have been gone from several cruise lines for a while now, but not Celebrity.  Even though the ship is headed for dry dock early next year, it was still in good shape.  The mixology class offered by the bar staff is not to be missed.  Three of us had a private class taking over the Casino Bar and actually going behind the bar to learn how to make a great cocktail.  The highlight of our cruise!

Even though this cabin is right across from the crew service area, we were never bothered by noise from the crew. We really enjoyed the canapes delivered each late afternoon.

Ports of call

Tortola, British Virgin Islands

Excursion to Virgin Gorda is wonderful and the beach with boulders is amazing.

Fort-De-France, Martinique

We did not take an excursion here. There is nothing to do in the pier area. In the future, we would take an excursion or stay on the ship and enjoy.

Roseau, Dominica

For the third time, we took the Caribbean cooking class. It gets more and more popular each time. Fun and hands-on.

Basseterre, St. Kitts

New shopping area right in the pier area since the last time we were here.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Enjoyed Cuzzins Restaurant for mango drinks and a Caribbean lunch. It is 2 blocks back off the bay street on a street known as Back Street.
