Review summary

We had a concierge balcony class stateroom.  It was beautiful.  The steward was great.  The food was very disappointing.  As seasoned cruisers, we expected more from Celebrity.  The buffet food was totally unappealing and the main Dining Room menu was not up to Carnival.  Our dining experience was not good. The breakfast buffet was cold.  The lunch and dinner buffets were nothing to write home about.  We definitely prefer the dining experience on Carnival, even though their breakfast buffet was also cold and had no imagination, but at least lunch and dinner offered very appetizing food. Ice was only available in the stateroom when we asked for it.  Dinner in the Carnival dining room was always and experience and extremely entertaining especially if you had children with you.

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was roomy and had lots of storage. Apparently, the stewards were not required to supply ice twice a day as other cruises and we missed the silly towel animals others provide, but all in all the steward did everything we asked of him and he did a great job. The room was always clean and neat.

Ship tip

Ship was very nice. Decks were roomy and there were plenty of lounge chairs. The area around the Adult Only Auromotherapy pool was very nice and air conditioned. We enjoyed the outdoor grill. Hamburgers, hot dogs and french fries were very good. Staterooms were always clean and well maintained.

We took an ATV tour through Cruises Only. It was very tiring and dusty, but good.

The cleanest of the islands and the best to explore.
