We went with friends and had a great time just eating and hanging out with each other., but all 4 of agree we will not do this cruise line again. Too geared towards jewelry and alcohol. No shop for emergency necessities.

BUFFETS---Coffee was always cold, dessert bar was always different each meal which was great, but it was such a maze trying to get to a certain food bar especially when they wouldn't be in the same place. American food was terrible . Played the most horrible loud what they called music. SPECIALTY RESTAURANT-- was great, service from the wait help was awesome.

First afternoon was so annoying and aggravating because waiters were constantly asking us to buy the alcohol package but after the first day they backed off, the waiters were all helpful and not pesky. Our room attendant was awesome. I lost my sweater and customer service was able to help me right away and found it.

No complaints about the room, perfect size for us. Our room attendant was awesome, on top of everything and kept it clean.
Ship tip
I do not recommend this cruise line unless you are all about alcohol and jewelry. All daily activities were aimed towards alcohol and jewelry.
They are not there very long, gardens are too expensive to go thru with little time. Should make this a longer day and shorten one of the other ports some.
If you did not participate in ANY onboard activities, what else was there for you to do? Shop and drink I'm thinking. Part of the cruise experience is to have a nice glass of wine, have a nice meal and maybe a ring or pretty bag to take home. No wonder you didn't "enjoy" your cruise time. You didn't PARTICIPATE! :/
We got to Victotia port at 6 PM and had time to do a great excursion to Butchart Gardens. It was fabulous. The Solstice is a beautiful ship and we never had problems with anything. Food was absolutely delicious in MDR. Are you sure you’re giving the right review? Celebrity cruises are # 1 in our book.
