Review summary

Great ports of call, wish there was one more day at se to relax... I have sailed to Alaska before on a 10 day with Celebrity and I liked the duration better as it gave a little more relax time.

Embarkation

2 out of 5
Waiting an hour to check in when you are in Suite class/Zenith Class is not desirable... Celebrity should take a page from Norwegians Haven class for comfort and speed when boarding.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Buffet was lack luster and ok at best, very disorganized... Holland does a better job here. That said, the specialty restaurants and dining rooms were very good other than the very slow service, expect 2 hour meal times...

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Pools and hot tubs were great and in great shape. Hot glass blowing was wonderful and exciting. Fitness center was well equipped and offered plenty of room. Persian garden was lackluster especially for an up charge. Club should have opened earlier and had some events. Martini bar was partially broken, half not frozen and bartenders were so-so at best and very slow. Bingo was ridiculously expensive compared to any other ship or line and only happened 1 time over 7 days. Cruise director was one of the least interactive and social comparative to any other cruise I have been on.

Entertainment

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Butlers were great, Michaels club was stellar, especially Calley and Stevo. Waitstaff in main dining was very sweet, engaging and eager to make your dining experience memorable. Lumanie staff was good but VERY slow.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Great common spaces and shopping mall/casino... A couple of the common bathrooms needed cleaning on sea days but were taken care of the days following, otherwise very good.

Cabin / Stateroom

Ship tip

The spa is VERY EXPENSIVE compared to any other line or spa I have ever been too... Example: pedicure 180.00 plus tax and gratituity... Recommend main services like massages versus other services.
