Review summary

Staff was great . They really tried to give us what we asked for. We booked another cruise for November to a warmer climate. We booked a suite for this cruise so I am looking forward to suite privileges.

Would have given a 5 star but, we did not enjoy our experience at the Tuscon Grill. We didn't know how much it cost and only ordered pasta. So, $45 each is very expensive for a small portion of pasta. My husband ordered something made with hand rolled pasta. The server gave him a very small portion saying " it should fill you up since the noodles are thicker". Service was slow.

The weather was very bad. We did not get to go on our excision. We were really looking forward to landing on a glacier.

We sailed on this ship to Alaska in July. The weather in May and September is always a crapshoot. We very much enjoyed our meal at the Tuscan. It is clear the it is a fixed price, no matter what you order. Our meal was exceptional. The service is timed to allow for a fine meal without feeling rushed. If you go again, be sure and visit Skagway. It is a fun port with some nicely priced excursions. By the way, if you want a nice meal priced by what you order, I highly recommend Sushi on Five.

Thank you

another thing if you wait till you are on the ship the most popular excursions could be sold out so best to pre-book

Lovescruisin    7 years ago

@Donata if you you do not get to port due to weather they will reimburse your money😊

I have a question if we book tours beforehand and the weather does not permit it to go ahead do you loose your money or is it best to book once on board. This is our first cruise.

A suite is the best way to go love the privileges

Sweet! Hope you receive that extra little something that makes your next cruise even more memorable. The warmer weather is a step in the right direction, but sometimes you just gotta go to the cold for the awesome views.

If I may ask....what kind of deals do you get when you book future cruise on current cruise?
