Review summary

Very disappointed with the ship and the stops, not what we excepted at all. No coffee makers in room, rooms service took hours. On of our stops got cancelled because of an emergency and they didn't try to do anything to make up for it.

Voyager of the Seas had a tray with small jug and tea and coffee supplies. Other cruises we made a cup of tea or grabbed some ice water on the way back to our cabin after the show at night.

what cruise lines have irons in the room...only want to know so that i never cruise with them just think how many ppl would accidently leave the iron on i think most ppl have been guilty of doing this so just scares me to think that this could happen a few times especially on a long cruise

Can only tell you that none of the lines I've sailed -- Celebrity, Norwegian, Princess, Holland America -- had coffeemakers. I wouldn't want to sail a line that does, because of the safety issue. Coffee is all over the ship and a phone call away from your room.

insignia.... please share with us what cruise line has coffee makers in the rooms. I would love to have one in my room!! I always have to order coffee to be delivered by room service for each morning

Did you ask for a kettle, you should try asking, you open your mouth, if not you will have to take a butler with you next time

We were on the cruise to Alaska August 21-28. It was fabulous! We did miss Tracy Arm Fjord due to a passenger's serious illness when the Coast Guard picked her up in a helicopter. I was disappointed but glad to know my health would be a concern. Besides, many had excursions planned, and needed to be in Juneau. Missing those would have been extremely costly. The room was great as was the food (Blu), shops, etc. We met a lot of great people from Texas, Florida, Alabama, Arkansas, Canada. The weather was excellent. Make the most of it and be optimistic!

I have been on many cruises with many different cruise lines and guess what? There has never been one coffeemaker or iron. Blow dryer, yes. As for the itinerary, welcome to the Caribbean. Diamonds International owns it. You have to get out of the port area and into the island.

I have been on many cruises with different cruise lines and guess what, they have coffee makers, blow dryers and irons in the room and the ship has not set on fire. We were disappointed with this cruise not only with the cruise line but also with the stops. Every stop was the same, same scenery, same stores to shop in. I felt like I was in St. Thomas with all the International Diamond Stores.

Another reason they need a "NO" icon for the "Was this review helpful" option!!!

Sure. Go ahead, put coffeemakers in all the rooms and see how many people set the ship on fire in the middle of the ocean. While you're at it, equip the rooms with irons. Light a candle or two while you're at it.

Very surprised to read this...I have sailed with Celebrity many times...going on my ninth cruise with them and have nothing bad to say...We were on a cruise to the Western Caribbean and after our first stop, the captain said there was a hurricane in the area and they had to make other arrangements....went to the Eastern Caribbean..had as many ports of call...just not where we thought we were going
