Review summary
We were thrilled with our Celebrity cruise to Alaska. The scenery, excursions, weather, ship environment, staff, and stateroom were excellent. This was our first cruise, so I don't have much to compare it to, but it met all my hopes.
One thing I want to suggest: we were set up with the 8:30 dinner seating, which was just too late with a teenager. It was the first time the travel agent had booked with Celebrity, so she didn't know this, but another passenger told us that you can schedule your seating with what is called "My time". They will hold your table for up to 30 minutes incase you run late, but you don't have to live and (eat by!) the late seating or another seating. The food was very good but the dining room is hopping in the evening, so if you want a romantic, low key dinner, I suggest you go to one of the other specialty restaurants.
