We were thrilled with our Celebrity cruise to Alaska.  The scenery, excursions, weather, ship environment, staff, and stateroom were excellent.  This was our first cruise, so I don't have much to compare it to, but it met all my hopes.

One thing I want to suggest: we were set up with the 8:30 dinner seating, which was just too late with a teenager. It was the first time the travel agent had booked with Celebrity, so she didn't know this, but another passenger told us that you can schedule your seating with what is called "My time".  They will hold your table for up to 30 minutes incase you run late, but you don't have to live and (eat by!) the late seating or another seating. The food was very good but the dining room is hopping in the evening, so if you want a romantic, low key dinner, I suggest you go to one of the other specialty restaurants.

Entertainment

Brent Nixon was great; we didn't do much else with entertainment...the views from the ship deck were better than anything we thought they could offer.

Children's Programs

The kids group included pre teens, which our son said really messed with the synergy of the older teens. He bailed after the first get together.

It was great! Room stewards saw to every detail. Twice a day we came back to a clean room. Loved it!

Were there during a heat wave; too hot to do much of anything!

Pretty touristy, but we did the snorkeling excursion and it was really enjoyable.
