Review summary

My wife & I live in the Seattle area and have taken 7 cruises to Alaska.  The last two have been on the Celebrity Solstice.  Our repeat cruises are due to the beautiful scenery and the uniqueness of Alaska in general.  There seems to be something new each time we go that we have not seen or experienced before.  Compared with other cruise lines, the Solstice has the best lecture programs on board during the cruise.  In particular, Brent Nixon's presentations are the most enjoyable and passionate we have ever seen.  He has decades of experience in Alaska.  The Solstice also had a great crew and gave us excellent service.  We would highly recommend it.

The veranda was big enough for 2 people to enjoy. Also good storage room for luggage and clothes. Well kept up.

Ship tip

They do a good job of trying to accommodate smokers without creating problems for non smokers.

Victoria, British Columbia

Getting in at 6:00pm and leaving at midnight was not sufficient time to do much and it shut down most all shipboard activities.
