Review summary

If this had been our first Celebrity cruise it might have been our last. The ship really needs to be redone. Also there were a large number of families so it was quite crowded. Breakfast and lunch on the first day out were chaotic. The food was almost always excellent but the wine list is a bit boring. We had the premium package and the selection was pedestrian. Our cabin steward was excellent and could not do enough as well as the waiters in the dining room.

Food was generally up to Celebtity high standards but there were a few misses. Also had some problems with the wine service but they were dealt with very efficiently

The ship is looking very much in need of refurbishing. Cushions are worn and everything is a little down at the heels. We are taking another cruise on the Silhouette at Christmas and I am a bit concerned.

Cabin / Stateroom

Quite comfortable. There was damage in the floor of the verandah and the outdoor furniture is quite worn . The seat on the chair tore when I sat on it. I weigh less than 180 pounds so it wasn't from that. It was just very worn.
