Review summary

Cruise was great because Alaska is so beautiful. Love the ship and the crowds were minimal. Food was good but not great on the ship, staff was lovely and room was fabulous because of the deck!

Embarkation

Took the ACT bus from Anchorage, basically we were one of the last to board, so no lines at all.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food in cafe was good, everything that should be warm was warm. Breakfast was great. Lunch and Dinner were fine, not great but fine. Desserts look beautiful but not much flavor. Ice cream flavors were wonderful. Main dining was very slow service and lukewarm food on the one night we ate in main dining. Bar service was great. Grill was great.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Our activities summed up would be "watching for whales, seals, and northern lights". We played cards while watching for wildlife and hung out on the veranda with the binoculars!

Entertainment

Didn't attend any shows

Children's Programs

don't have kids

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone was nice and our cabin attendant was great.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
We love the Millennium class ships because of the aft veranda. Everything seemed clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

Massive deck and half covered and half not. This is the best location for the northern lights since you are looking to the side and aft of ship with minimal light pollution.

Used Urban Limo service to transfer from port to YVR, best decision ever. No wait, no drama, just a very nice car and driver!

Disembarkation

Our ship was the only one in port at the time, so customs was empty without any lines. So nice!
