Very quick and very friendly staff

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The Main dining room had many options nightly. The meals we had were very good. We also ate at the Tuscan Grill (Specialty). The filet mignon is very well seasoned and as soft as butter. A must! The Oceanview Cafe was great. Fresh eggs, omelets and more. For lunch, many varieties of foods from Indian, Asian and the traditional pizza and pastas.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
This ship does not have all the slides or rock climbing but never had any problem getting a place at the pool. The solarium was full and took some time to find a place but it really was quiet.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The shows were awesome. From the onboard entertainers to specialty singers. We especially liked the talks from a person who was born in the Panama Canal area while the US was building it. So knowledgeable, not boring and really made you understand what you were about to see and how it works.

Children's Programs

we do not have any kids and this ship typically has a minimal amount of children on board

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our waiters, Sumatra and Pedi were very attentive. Never waited for anything. Our room steward kept our very clean. Our bartenders, Citra and Dimitri were above and beyond. if they saw us coming, our drinks were ready. Way to go Staff of the Millennium

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
This is one of the original Celebrity ships so it is much smaller and we prefer it that way. It was refurbished in 2019 and looked and felt new for 23 years old. (no I am not a staff member or work for Celebrity)

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had more than enough space for a 15 day cruise. Large suitcases etc fit under the bed. Lots of room to hang clothes for 15 days.

Ship tip

Expect great service and cleanliness. Even when there was Covid on board, everything was of the highest cleanliness. Don't expect slides, waves or rock walls.

Ports of call

Cartagena, Colombia

3 out of 5
It was good. Our goal is to see as many of the places we visit. (not beach or snorkeling people). We did the Cartagena city tour.

Colon, Panama

3 out of 5
It was good. We were able to see first hand, upon close how the locks work for the canal prior to making the transit.

Panama Canal Transit

5 out of 5
We were able to be on the helipad to see as we were lowered and raised between the locks. There are 3 sets of locks until you reach the Pacific Ocean. what a great ride. took us about 10 hours or so.

Puntarenas, Costa Rica

3 out of 5
We have been to a Costa Rica resort before so this time we took the time to see the sights.

Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala Did not visit port

The excursions were quite long and we weren't interested in a 2 hour drive to and from their main city

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

2 out of 5
It was okay. same as any other Mexican City.

San Pedro (Los Angeles), California Did not visit port

had to catch a plane to home

Disembarkation

2 out of 5
not good. very long lines to go through customs. 1 hour later than we were supposed to get off. The bus transfer was very confusing to most and took quite a while.
