Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Sorry to see buffet food choices and quality go down from past cruises. MDR was best experience for dinners that we had there (9 times). MDR dinner will be 1.5-2hours. We had anytime seating, and sat as a couple one time. We then discovered that meeting new people at a shared dinner table was fun (6 times). We found a neat couple and met for dinner at a table for 4 the remaining visits. Tuscan was just ok on first nite, we canceled second reservation (13th nite) after horrible service and food at Sushi on 5 on 7th nite.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
We really enjoyed the production shows (4), very talented people. The solo artists were ok (2 shows), three shows we did not attend due to lack of our interest. The Waves Band and Magdalena were very good in lounges and pool side. There were two other singing acts that we never sat and listened to, but heard that they were good too. Good thing is that there was places to see and listen to live performances every day and all day.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Really appreciated services received, and tipped cash on occasions of excellent service. ($5) Bartenders, Barristas and Waiters. We appreciate an outspoken/outgoing stateroom attendant, unfortunately we had a very quiet one. We tipped $20 to attendant two times on top of “gratuities included” by Celebrity.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Millie is a beautiful ship, clean and easy to navigate. We just didn’t agree with pools, and lack of quiet places or niches throughout the ship. I would agree that this is one of the older ships, compared to Reflection and Apex. I don’t think we will book on ol’ Millie again. We did book on Solstice next cruise.

Ship tip

Enjoy Ol’ Mille, she’s beautiful and well taken care of. Sometimes you have to pick the ship that holds the itinerary that you want 😀

Disembarkation

Don’t forget, must clear out of stateroom by 730am. We screwed up and chose to disembark at 10am. We had priority disembark too (Concierge Class)
