Loved it. Celebrity is our favorite cruise line, hands down. The Millennium is not a megaship. It’s big enough for us snd the staff is amazing. We booked with and had tips included, drink package, and full internet onboard as well as onboard spending and a gift card waiting when we got home. I’d highly recommend.
Embarkation

Fort Lauderdale couldn’t have been easier or faster.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Celebrity has the best food and the nicest servers. The drinks were excellent and there’s a hidden gem of a cafe midship called cafe el Bacio. The desserts are next level and the teas and coffee were high end. I’m a Dunkin’ and Starbucks should be ashamed. I got home and ordered the tea and scoffs that I was served at this cafe.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Fitness center had classes, peloton, enough equipment, cold towels, gave out headphones, high level with a view from the front of the ship of the ocean as we were cruising. This ship didn’t have rock walls and slides, you’re thinking of carnival.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The shows were outstanding, the house band was extremely talented and played at shows and all over the ship. Magicians and comedians were excellent and the cruise director unexpectedly was an extremely talented singer, dancer, and piano player and did a late night Vegas style show that was incredible.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Waiters knew your name and preferences by night 2. Sommelier knew your wines snd drinks and suggested and gave you tastes of other wines she thought you’d like to expand your palate. The room steward was top notch. Kept the room pristine, seemed to always be there to help, restocked supplies and answered any questions about the ship. He planned ahead for you, giving towels for shore excursions, made sure the AC was the temp we liked. He was always smiling and so kind.
Ship Quality

The common areas were immaculate. Bathrooms had attendants nearby who kept it clean and stocked with soap and towels. The one time there were too many people in the bathroom the attendant moved it along do the line went right down all the whole cleaning up after guests who splashed water so it was always immaculate.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Had a large window in the cabin which let in a lot of light and the layout allowed for every inch to be used. I personally like balconies and this was my first time in an ocean view, but balconies were sold out when we booked this very late and I was pleasantly surprised at how spacious and bright the room was. The small table slid right over our two full size hard luggage cases so they didn’t take up extra room. The bathroom had a decent sized shower especially compared to other cruise lines.
Ship tip
Don’t just eat in the main dining room. There are other areas that serve the same food that are available to all like the spa cafe near the pool, the pool bar which had grilled food, the cafe and geletaria on deck 5. The main dining had really good, high end restaurant food. We were always happy with our choices there.
The weather. There was a storm and the captain steered us to the next port for extra time. We saw clouds in the distance but never got the storm so it was a wise decision.
Had a good excursion with a half Dutch, half French driver so we heard and saw both sides. This Island had a lot of beautiful beaches and open markets. Very nice.
The island was beautiful but not as advanced as other islands we visited. A little stuck in time. The beaches were beautiful and the people were incredibly friendly. The infrastructure was like from the 70’s. The tour guide said the previous government wanted to modernize but the current government didn’t. They hoped the next government would bring them forward. A clean snd safe Island.
Immaculate, well run, with beautiful landscape. This island is solar and wind powered, taking advantage of those and other natural resources. They naturally have enough sand and clay to build structures and they utilize all their resources. The beaches were beautiful and the island has some very wealthy areas too. The people were incredible there.
Still a little bit of rebuilding visible in new San Juan to fortify large buildings but the seemed to have recovered after their storm damage a few years ago. We explored old San Juan on our own, after ship brought us to there, and went back the next day to see more. Ubers were easy and cheap, though taxis were recommended by hotels we found Ubers to be plentiful and easy. We went to run factory for a tour and back to old San Juan, and there was plenty to do in main San Juan too. Cell service for US worked great so it was easy to navigate. Loved tre beaches but the ocean was way too fierce. Luquillo beach was protected by a reef so the ocean was like being in your pool. Recommend that beach if you want to go in the water safely.
Smooth, orderly. We had a flight the next day so we booked old San Juan on our own with the ship, they brought our luggage to the airport so we were brought back after lunch by the buses to get it and then grabbed a cab to our hotel from there. Charged us $30 to split a cab with another couple. Not unreasonable but when we took an Uber back to airport next day it was $10. So worth it.
Was on this cruise as well. We enjoyed every minute of it. It was our first sailing in Celebrity. We are used to the mega ships of Norwegian or Carnival. Booked another on the Solstice while we were on board. After our planned cruise on Royal this fall, we will be Celebrity lifers.
The one port we didn't care for at all was Barbados. We thought the whole affair was a disorganized mess. The various tour groups didn't seem to have a game plan to avoid a chaotic free for all. Other than that, the ship, service, and itinerary were wonderful.
