Review summary

We have sailed this ship previously so we knew what to expect. Stateroom is very adequate and staff was excellent. Again, Celebrity dining as a whole needs revamping because of poor selection on many nights and below average quality on several nights. A few nights were outstanding, but mostly average. Persons giving most announcement could not be understood because of heavy accents. Sneeze shields in buffet dining were inadequate. Only ate there once since we saw many passengers coughing and sneezing. Gross.

We arrived about 2PM when lines were short and there was virtually no waiting time.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Dining room food quality & selection need improvement. Bar service needed more personnel.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
So much of therir activities are designed to get your money so we just avoid them all.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Stateroom and Main Dining staff are excellent. Bar service is poor because there are not enough personnel.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Nice sized shiped with forward, mid and aft elevator service so long walks aren't necessary.

All aspects are very expensive, from lodging, meals to transportation. People are friendly.

Ketchikan, Alaska

No excursions this time but we enjoyed the town & shops; to many jewelry stores.

Sitka, Alaska

4 out of 5
First time and bus tour was interesting. Was on Sunday so very quiet.

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska

1 out of 5
Very cold. Not quite sure why we stopped here, just a money grab owned by the cruiselines.

Juneau, Alaska

4 out of 5
No excursion but took the bus and spent time on Mt Roberts and shopping. To many jewelry stores that all seemed empty.

Skagway, Alaska

5 out of 5
Our favorite. People are nice and you can cover the whold town in a few hours.

Seward (Anchorage), Alaska

2 out of 5
Just another big city used for transit.
