Review summary

The fine weather throughout although unfortunately the one day of expected cruising through the glaciers was ruined by fog and mist.

Disappointed with the standard and quality of food in the Open Café onboard but main meals in the Dining Room were fine.

Some of the ports were disappointing but all worth the experience. Likewise some of the excursions were pretty ordinary.

Cabin was good but the location (on 3 Deck) as the most forward cabin next to the crews quarters was not good with an excessive walk to mid ships or aft and unfortunately the complete opposite end to our friends.

Ship tip

The hot spa (enclosed) area looked good but unfortunately we were suffering from colds so unable to participate. Of the speciality restaurants the better in my view was the Tuscany Grill. Would suggest the Premium Wine Package as the Classic is too limited and they do not allow you to pay the extra
