Relax and enjoy the wonderful food and shows. Wander through all the public areas early to find one you like. My nephew found a quiet place in the library! Don't get caught up in all the raffles and sale come ons! You will wait in crowds for long periods and come away empty. Spend your time your way.

Don't bother with specialty dining. Main dining was better food. Bring earplugs for sleeping.

Try to ignore the pressure to purchase a drink package if you are not a big drinker. We were asked by at least a dozen employees to purchase a drink package the the first day alone, not to mention for the next several days. Very annoying!

Food was pretty marginal and there is a constant barrage to try to sell you drink packages, art, excursions and alternative dining. Nonetheless, the ship is outstanding as is the crew.

Get a balcony room. Getting near the pool or a lounge chair is impossible and it's extremely crowded

Bring ear plugs, because when people next door were opening their cabin's door, it sounded like someone was opening our door and it was a little disturbing, especially at night time.

I preferred being near the block of 8 elevators in the aft section; it is convenient to the mdr and the cafe and pools, as well.

Fly into port the night before due to uncertainty with airlines. We didn't bring a power strip as many recommended and we were fine without it.

Go for it but wait to book your excursions til onboard because if u get sick like I did, you're out the money

The staff is excellent, and made you feel at home and relaxed The food is by far the best. The entertainment is superb.

Find another cruise that gives you more "bang for your buck". This ship seems geared mostly for first time cruisers and geriatrics who have had no experience with other cruise ships and no expectations of quality. I rate this particular cruise below most Carnival cruises I've taken (and I've taken many)
