Nicest of the 5 ships I have sailed on. Excellent service. Ports of call nothing special but we were there to relax and unwind and get away to some place we had not been. Highly recommend. We loved it. Noise in late evening was only real issue.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Main dining excellent, specialty dining not worth the money, buffet good.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Not a whole lot of activities onboard. We toured the kitchen, went to a navagational seminar, colored, saw glass blowing, shopped and did trivia games. Pools were very crowded so never went in and didn't use spa or fitness area. There were no rock climbing walls or slides or anything remotely like that on the ship. It was perfect for us but not a lot going on for families or younger cruisers.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Guest performers were excellent. Celebrity ship performers were good musicians but several
singers had poor voices. DJs, solo guitarist and orchestra were very good. Acrobats were good.
Service and Staff

Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
First cabin (3rd floor ocean view room) was very noisy from a banging metal sound that they could not resolve. They graciously moved us to a balcony room on 8th floor which was exactly the same room except for the balcony. In the new room there were 3 children next to us and it was extremely noisy until midnight every night. We felt uncomfortable complaining since they had just moved us so we didn't say anything to guest services. The parents were aware but did nothing. That was the only real problem on the cruise but a major one. We were very frustrated and tired. Parents of those children were out in the evenings and kids ran wild in the room. Our floor and joining wall were pounding and shaking from them jumping and running. Cabins were clean, nicely decorated and comfortable.
Ship tip
Don't bother with specialty dining. Main dining was better food. Bring earplugs for sleeping.
Took conch your train. Nice and worth the money. Been to Key West before many times so not all that exciting for us. Great town for eating and drinking and partying.
Did Segway tour. So much fun. Saw a bit of town and beach area while cruising on Segway. Easy and a real memory for us. Costa Maya had not much going on outside port area which was set up nicely for passengers on ship to ship and dine. Segway tour took us past beach area. Did not go to swimming.
5 hour air conditioned bus ride around town and stopped at Mayan Cocoa factory, tequila distillery, model ruins, other tourist places and beach. Excellent tour and guide. Highly recommend tour. Town was typical touristy but nice.
Cleaner and more upscale than Mexican ports. Took amphibian bus tour which was nice but too short. Would have liked to see more of the island. Still fun. Shopped a little and went back to ship early. We are Floridians so beaches and sand and swimming are not a big deal for us. We are more interested in seeing the towns we go to then the beaches. Not much right at port. Had to walk a few blocks. Not as touristy feeling. Much bigger town but didn't go far to nicer area on bus tour.
