Disappointed in selection of ship activities & food compared to past Celebrity cruises. Still an enjoyable cruise.

GREAT GETAWAY JANUARY. EQUINOX IS A GEM OF A SHIP.

A very relaxing and fun-filled trip with several good friends who share like interests. Cruise provided something for everyone and the variety of shows, events, gatherings, shops, etc. added to the enjoyment.

Overall, Celebrity get an A on this cruise ship and the itinerary. The ship activities for Christmas and New Year's were well orchastrated and much fun. Even though the ship was short staffed, the existing staff worked diligently to make for a good time. I have already booked another cruise on the Equinox for a different itinerary...so looking forward to it!

To set the background for my review, this was our 2nd cruise on Celebrity and our 23rd cruise overall.  We previously cruised on the Celebrity Mercury many years ago to Alaska.  We booked this cruise to travel with friends and see 6 islands we have never visited before.  Our cruise took place over Christmas and the New Year holiday.  We did not have any issues with COVID, and we felt that this was the first cruise that we gave little thought to the virus.  Overall, we enjoyed this cruise and are planning to take future cruises on Celebrity.  Like every cruise we have been on, we found that there was a lot of good and a few things that we wished were different.  I am writing a detailed description of our experience to help future travelers.

Overall the cruise was very enjoyable. Island excursions and guides revealed a lot of history about each island. Ship shops were to high end for my budget. Excellent Captain and crew.

We have been to the Caribbean many times on cruises and just prefer to enjoy the peace and quiet on the boat. Some of the excursions are too long in the heat at our age and we don't like it when we are not parked at a pier. We generally only get off for an hour or so.

Celebrity standards have gone down a bit since the last time we cruised with them. Ship was a bit outdated, severely limited options for TV, even pay per view, (simply archaic compared to Holland and Princess free entertainment options). I probably wouldn’t go on this cruise again for the price. We’ve been on other ships we enjoyed much more for half the price.

Many more people cruising therefore staff doing there best to keep up! Celebrity needs to think twice before they make cuts & drink changes!

This was one of the best cruises we have taken. The service, food and ship were superb!

We went to relax and did. We decided to book a Guarantied Verandah and use our Captain Club benefits.

It was a nice leisurely cruise. The islands were sleepy, not as sleek as I anticipated. I enjoyed getting to know more about the islands, the people and their history.

Overall we love cruising on Celebrity. It is our first choice still. The food, staff & activities are all excellent and the ports of call meet our adventurous spirits.

We cruised in Aqua Class and really enjoyed that experience. In every restaurant, the food was high quality and the service was excellent. Activities were also fun and varied for indoor and outdoor interests. Ports of call were all incredible and there was a good variety of excursions. We really liked the Cruise Director Eddy for his knowledge and enthusiasm. We think this may have been our favorite cruise of all time.

First cruise since the COVID pandemic. Overall, we had an very enjoyable and relaxing cruise, as always. We enjoy cruising on Celebrity. The ship’s staff were very friendly. The food was plentiful and good. Entertainment was ok, seen better on other cruises. Poor ship layout design, but not a deal breaker. Hopefully. as we and the cruise industry recover from the COVID pandemic things will improve and return to normal. Until then, I will continue cruising. Next cruise in February on Carnival Vista. Looking forward to it.

EVERYTHING WAS GREAT EXCEPT THE AIRPORT TRANSFER. LOVED IT. SPENT A FORTUNE ON EXTRAS, BUT YOLO!

We had a great time on this cruise. If I were to visit some of these ports again, I would probably just hit the beach on my own vs an excursion. Enjoyed the ship, food, people and the staff.

Cruise was great but exterior of ship needs MANTENANCE. Not sure will sail on Celebrity again unless a newer ship.

Ports were nice but wish we had more time in Curacao vs Bonaire as was originally booked. Service was fantastic and ship was clean. Food was only fair except for the Tuscan specialty restaurant, which was great. Passengers for the most part were older and the activities were skewed to this demographic.

We thoroughly enjoyed this cruise as it was our first of post pandemic sailing.
