Celebrity standards have gone down a bit since the last time we cruised with them. Ship was a bit outdated, severely limited options for TV, even pay per view, (simply archaic compared to Holland and Princess free entertainment options). I probably wouldn’t go on this cruise again for the price. We’ve been on other ships we enjoyed much more for half the price.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Food was good, but not up to Celebrity standards from previous cruises.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
We didn’t participate much in onboard activities. We like to just chill out and read by the pool.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
We would have liked more live music (like classical).
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Extremely hard working employees as always!
Ship Quality

An older ship. One thing I greatly disliked was the lack of electrical outlets in the cabins. In this day and age of smartphones and electronics there really needs to be several outlets and also USB/US-C outlets. I did however like the larger bathrooms on this ship.
Cabin / Stateroom

Too close to the Grand Foyer, very noisy especially with singers at night. It felt like they were in our room.
Just FYI, we parked in the parking structure next to where the Equinox was docked on arrival. We did not return to the same spot and ended up being super far from the parking structure. There was no mention of this, or any instructions given on how to reach our vehicle from the new spot. We had 4 suitcases and had to walk forever in an industrial area with no sidewalks and no signage on how to get to the parking structure. This was horrible and really ruined the end of the cruise for us. I would avoid going back on Celebrity or Port Everglades just to avoid this situation in the future.
We went to the beach with an excursion thru Celebrity but I would do it on my own the next time. It’s much cheaper to just take a taxi and you can stay longer.
Horrible trying to get back to our car in the parking garage. We should have taken a taxi instead of trying to walk with all our luggage and no signage/directions on how to get there.
Totally agree with you. Did Equinox 2019, and it was awesome. Did it again this past July and it was a noticeable downgrade. The ship just seems unkept. Chairs in MDR were falling apart. Food was much worse. Service inconsistent. It was like a totally different ship.
Having done electrical upgrades on a ship before, I can see why a ship that is probably 17 years out from design and about 14 from launch has old style power.
I took my very first cruise in September on Equinox, and I loved every moment of it. I'm sorry some things weren't very good for you, and I hope your next cruise goes much better!
