We had booked Aqua class and the Blu restaurant and specialty restaurants were great. Excellent food and excellent service!

Pools are very small, shallow and crowded. Very nice fitness center. Plenty of outdoor bars and sitting areas around same.

Headliners were great! Production shows were ok.

Ship Quality

Interior of ship was clean and had a nice layout. Exterior of ship needs work! Is not as well maintained as other ships we have sailed on. Balcony was dirty, glass was dirty and paint chips failing from the ceiling. Even lifeboats looked like they needed some heavy-duty maintenance. Frankly parts of exterior looked like a rust bucket outside!

Interior room was very clean. Balcony was a mess. Very disappointed in Aqua class cabin as was small and cramped. Not really worth the extra money paid.

We have travelled twice on this ship without these issues, but have experienced very similar situation on the QM2. Its pretty poor that we pay enough for these cruises so don't expect such poor standards. I understand that they are battling the elements, but no excuses.
