Great ship and fantastic ports of call. Staff was very attentive, but the ship needs refurbishing/modernization.

Review summary

Great cruise and had a wonderful time just a few glitches, and wish the ship was completely refurbished.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Very fast embarkation, but was supposed to show self covid test but they never asked.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food quality seems to be going down just a bit, but never had an issue finding something we liked.Had the premium drink package included when booking the Retreat but finding the premium brands was an issue, even in the Retreat lounge. Got attitude when asking for Zacapa in the Retreat by the bartender, said they couldn't get it and it wasn't available on the entire ship, which was wrong because the Passport bar had it the entire cruise.

Tuscan Grille

4 out of 5

Tuscan Grille was really nice and we had a great meal, not anything outstanding, but it was a nice change from Luminae. Staff was great, food was good.

Le Petit Chef at Qsine

3 out of 5

It was over rated, and for us it was a one and done venue. Food was just okay nothing special, show was cute but even if they change it up, we wouldn't go back again.

Cafe al Bacio and Gelateria

5 out of 5

great coffee, but always a line, seemed to be short staffed.

Retreat Lounge

2 out of 5

This was our worst experience in the Retreat on any ship. It was boring, the bartender was terrible and had an attitude, the concierge's were fake and not very good, they would tell you they would check on something for us and it never happened, tried to buy a Retreat robe, and they said they would take care of it and send one to our room, that never took place either. After day three we never went back to the lounge.

Passport Bar

5 out of 5

Fun staff, great entertainment almost nightly something is going on and it is always packed. Loved the staff they took time to get to know us, and never had to ask our room number or what we were having.

Murano Restaurant

5 out of 5

Murano is by far our favorite specialty dining venue, always exceptional service and food.

Luminae

5 out of 5

Food was Good, but would like to see a change in the menu. Every cruise on every ship the same thing. It's getting a bit tiresome. Staff seemed to be new and in training, but our waiter was great, he was just a bit shy.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Ton's of activities to keep everyone happy and busy.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Great Entertainment!

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Most of the crew was extremely attentive, only issue was with our Butler that we only saw twice during a 10 Nt cruise, and Retreat bartender that gave us so much attitude that we stopped going.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Nice Solstice class ship, but it did not ever completed its renovations. Old and tired looking furnishings. Easy ship to get around.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Nice Solstice class ship, but it never completed its renovations, our Celebrity suite was old and tired looking, and the furniture was in need of replacing, but everything was clean and neat. Just wish it was revitalized.

Disembarkation

We just walked off ourselves when the ship cleared customs. No issues.
