Don't leave the sky ride to the last day. The line was too long and we missed out on doing it. (It is only open a limited amount of time). Don't over pack.

Be sure to make reservations for any specialty restaurants you want ahead of time, or as soon during the cruise as possible. They fill up quickly. Cherry on Top now has ice cream sandwiches with various types of cookies in addition to the sundaes - they're really good and large. If you want a seat to any of the adults-only comedy shows, arrive 30+ minutes early. Sign up for mixology classes/martini tastings at the Alchemy Bar on embarkation day. They aren't heavily advertised but they do fill up.

Be prepared that it is a very large ship. There are small bars that people don't seem to use like the Havana Bar. It has comfortable seating ,great bartenders, and a good place if you want a quiet drink. Later it has good music too.

Don't rush to dinner on the first night m- there will be a line. Go about 5-10 minutes late. Other nights were fine. Do not miss dining in the formal dining rooms at night as the food and service is top notch. We did self debarkation but had to wait for an elevator for about 20 minutes.

You do not have to venture to the Serenity area to have some quiet and privacy. Lots of areas on the the port side of the ship where you can sit there with your partner or solo. Read, listen to your music, or just gaze out into the ocean.

Check the itinerary prior to boarding to know about things like 80s night or all white night etc. It would have made those things more inviting had we known.

Learn to use the HUB. it can be quirky/balky. If an elevator shows up, get on it, even if its going the wrong way. Nuff said.

Drinks are expensive. If possible, leave a few breaks from excursions in your plans. Our first 4 days were long excursions and by the 5th day, we really needed a sit on your rear end type break.

I believe this ship is more of a family friendly oriented ship. It does not have as a really good area for adults. Great if you have a young family.

Avoid the buffet between 8-9am and 6.30-7.30pm if you don't want to stand in line for ages. Locate Guys BBQ so you can find it at 12 on sea days when it opens for lunch. Yum.

Don't forget to leverage other dining options - some free (including JiJi's and Capitano Cuccina for lunch), Guy's Burgers and Blue Iguana, and some worth a little extra. I thought the lobster roll was very good!
