Review summary

The Vista was beautiful. We had a lovely time. You would never know there were 4000 passengers on board, it was never crowded. The staff was friendly and nice. Overall it was not as nice as other cruises we have been on. We think this is more a trend in the industry and not a reflection on the ship. We notice each time that we cruise that they are less elegant. The food quality has declined and even the upcharge Italian restaurant was not impressive (would not recommend it.

Great location!!

Ship tip

Don't leave the sky ride to the last day. The line was too long and we missed out on doing it. (It is only open a limited amount of time). Don't over pack.

We stayed in Naples and walked around. I would probably do an excursion at this port if I went back. the city is a dirty city. It was nice but there are better places to go.

You are right about room service. Also small things like been able to book excursions from your room's tv(vista)or order room service from your room's tv(vista). Our MDR was Reflections so I can't speak for Horizon, we had a show all but the first night and Ken, our Maitre D sang all of those nights.

It looks like they give you less and less. It's variety for room service breakfast, less entertainment in the MDR where they use to sing and dance and have more interaction between the Maitre D and the guests.
