Review summary

This was our first Family vacation. It was very fun, my kids wil never forget it. We can't wait to plan another cruise just my husband and I. The overall experience was great. Thank you carnival for being so good to my family and keeping us safe and comfortable during the extended stay due to hurricane Irma. We look foward to our next cruise.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food and service was great! Trying new things was awesome!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We did a lot on the ship! Water slides pools, sky ride, ropes coarse, shows, movie nights! It was great!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
They were very good! Comedy shows were great for both kids and adults. The added comedy shows and show they put together for the last few nights was great!

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
While I was happy they were there my kids were not happy there. I would have liked to see another age group for the 6,7,8 year olds as they are in with very little children. My kids were also in seperate age groups and not allowed to interact with each other while in camp ocean. Also they are stuck in a room which kind of ruins the experience. As far as what was available for kids we were very happy. The build a bear was great as well as the activities in camp ocean.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We were very impressed with the service we recieved. Our room steward Daniel was wonderful, very nice and accommodating. We also loves Sawan our waitress for a few of the evenings she was great!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very nice! It is good we had extra days to remeber where things were on the boat since it was so big!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our cabin was great! We loved the double showers since we had 5 people in our room. It was very clean and fit us all comfortably.

Ship tip

Check the itinerary prior to boarding to know about things like 80s night or all white night etc. It would have made those things more inviting had we known.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida Did not visit port

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

3 out of 5
The locals made this port very uncomfortable. We felt very pressured and were forced to pay for something we didn't want. We did a driving tour and went to a beach.

George Town, Grand Cayman

5 out of 5
This was my family's favorite port! Very welcoming and the people were very nice. We had a great time snorkeling and petting sting rays!

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
We didn't do much in this port as we were nervous about venturing out. We stayed and shopped at the port. We had a nice time.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Took a few extra days, went smooth and quickly

Did you hear alot of noise from the from the floor above? Have heard some people complain that it was noisy in the family harbor suites.
