Do not try to plan an excursion for every stop. You will be exhausted.

I would tell them to consider the fact that you have to pay for soft drinks and the free drinks are terrible and the lines are long for food and they close eateries to early

Try to use the STEPS... Book a middle floor like 6, so you can use the steps during busy times.. Food is on 10 and most activities are on 4 & 5. Play miniature golf, do the sky ride. Eat at JiJi's, and Farhenheit 55. Embrace and chat with the entertainment staff. Especially Cookie, Nono and Eden.

Schedule your dining to ensure you hit every dining venue! Try the Asian and Italian restaurants for lunch (no charge)...and go back for dinner at least one night.

Visit the Havana Hot tubs at 9pm - not many people there and its dark you can see the stars.

Anytime dining was great, no queues, embarkation a breeze and disembarkation even better. You can take wine on board or champagne.

Take the time and explore the ship. There are all kinds of quiet areas all over the ship. No need to bring shampoo and shower gel...it's already there. We ordered water and a six pack of soda for our cabin...we did use the water to take with us on port days, but I had to force myself to use the soda

If you want to participate in the behind the scenes tour of the ship do it as soon as you get on the ship to make sure that it does not sell out.

Prime real estate on Serenity and other deck areas was gone by 8am every day... reserve your lounge early.

Go with the flow, don't have expectations. There is a lot to do but there are also a lot of people so lots of lines. The IMAX and 4d thrill theatre are a must !!

If you want luxury, take smaller Carnival ship. More elegant, more funand more better dancing and shows.
