Review summary

Don't know when I will take another cruise but when I do it definitely won't be on Carnival Vista. When you are on a cruise you shouldn't have to worry about rushing to get something to eat when you come from an excursion.

I would tell them to consider the fact that you have to pay for soft drinks and the free drinks are terrible and the lines are long for food and they close eateries to early

In this situation the ship doesn't matter as this happens on all due to the fact the the ship has it's daily on board schedule which may conflict with the available docking schedule at some ports. There's no reason to have to rush to get something to eat as there are several options offered and available to you, remember you are in vacation mode, relax and adjust accordingly leave that strict daily grind of schedules at home and enjoy the lido, the deli, or make it a pizza n Cesar salad night or order room service and take it up on to the Lani or another outdoor deck.

We always choose late dining just for that reason. But still, on several cruises, we get back from shore, and are just to tired to get showered, hair done, and dressed decent for dinner. So we shower, take a nap, and go to lido..lol or roomservice

We try local cuisine, otherwise there is always pizza or a sandwich or maybe a burger before your assigned diner time or go can ask to go early and they can accommodate your needs. Hope at list you enjoyed the magnificent show they have. We did. Looking forward to the Horizon inaugural trip in April.

sorry to about that we always go whit carnival and ever have a problem and complain but we always back to th e ship a few hours before the ship go .
