Review summary

Great cruise went on with a group of family members. There was an abundance of activities for everyone. The food was amazing and a lot of choices and speciality restaurants. Overall a great choice, looking forward to booking another Carnival cruise.

Embarkation

2 out of 5
Once on the cruise it was great, but the embarkation needs improvement. Even though we had a scheduled time to board the ship we still had to wait on an extremely long line even though we were in in our scheduled time frame. Once I side the building we had to sit and wait some more. People that had later scheduled boarding times were able to board before us. So the scheduled times really didn't mean anything.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food on the boat was amazing. We sampled the main dining rooms and specialty restaurants. Guys Burgers, Pig and Anchor and the Cantina were among my favorite!

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
I did not have time to do all of the activities I wanted there were so many to choose from. We did the thrill theatre which was great, I didn't know what to expect but very enjoyable. I went back and watched another show. Another favorite the movie Under The Stars, complete with a blanket and popcorn which was provided for all guests! I also enjoyed walking the beautiful ship and enjoy the Havana bar, lounge and sun decks. I wanted to experience the stride but the wait was too long, an hour. The ride was it open certain times, it would of been nice if it was open more hours to cut down on the wait so more guests can utilize it. Also the kids loved the Build A Bear workshop.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Overall I enjoyed the entertainment, music and performers. However they did not have Broadway shows which I would have liked to see.

Children's Programs

4 out of 5
The ship did a great job having entertainment for guests of all ages. From Dr. Seuss parade, breakfast arcade, Build A Bear. There was something at all times for them to do. One thing about the parade maybe they can change is timing. It was scheduled the same time guests were boarding the boat from an island, which didn't leave a lot of time to participate. Hence we missed the parade.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The service was great. The table waiters Bryan and On ur were very attentive and made sure everyone at the table had an enjoyable meal.

Ship Quality

Loved the Vista ~ some of the glitz missing, but other features to compensate ~ great staff!
