Review summary
It was wonderful to celebrate New Years Eve on the Carnival Vista; our first cruise. The ship was amazing. It you wanted something to do...it was available. If you wanted to sit and relax...it was available. If you wanted to get away by yourself...it was available. I am hooked on cruising. This is the first time that my husband and I truly relaxed on a vacation. We chose not to take the internet packages and stayed "disconnected" from email, facebook and unending business. The food was great and yes there were some lines but they weren't 10 minutes long. Everything moved along. I'm a morning person and got up early and did a two mile walk everyday. I highly recommend the Vista. We are looking at booking again for NYE 2017. Great sailing!

Take the time and explore the ship. There are all kinds of quiet areas all over the ship. No need to bring shampoo and shower gel...it's already there. We ordered water and a six pack of soda for our cabin...we did use the water to take with us on port days, but I had to force myself to use the soda
