Carnival Vista Cruise Reviews - Tips

The ship is very clean and brand new. Do not be afraid to travel about and go solo. The excursions are very good but not necessary at every port. The ship is in port ample time to see significant points of interest at each destination. Be adventurous.

Formal night is much better on the first day at sea. You don't need to bring numerous charges for your electronics they have USB ports

See the shows -- they're very good, and the performers are quite energetic.

This was quite different from the Carnival Caribbean cruises but some cruisers thought that it was still party city. We could have been happy without the loud heavy drinkers.

Travel light, disregard formal attire. Staff does not comply with dress code

You need to get an adult pool sorted and the hip hop DJ does not really appeal to a majority of european customers. it may be an american cruiseliner but you need to consider your customer base

Even though we selected your time dining, I realize I prefer the fixed dining times. With this itinerary, it was the best dining selection with the long days in port but I missed having the same dining staff all week.

The carnival shore excursions were absolutely awful and I will never book an excursion through them again. Book a Havana suite, it is close to everything for a couple and you have a private pool area most of the day for Havana suite guests only, it was never crowded.
