Review summary

The best part of the cruise was the port intensive itinerary which allowed us to visit 5 different countries. Entering and leaving the ship was efficient and quick. The cabins were spacious and very pleasant. The food was surprisingly good for this size and type of ship. Our main dining room head waiter was superb. Evening movies on deck were great. Comedy shows were good but too crowded.

Noise at night made sleeping difficult some nights. Initially our party was not seated together and it took aggressive effort to fix this but it was fixed. There were insufficient pools for the very hot weather. A long line for the skyride lessened the enjoyment of this feature. The serenity deck was too small and only had a hot tub. Drinks were small and expensive. The card dispensing beer tap was a good and fast option. Lines were too long in the Lido deck to get breakfast quickly before going to port. The dining room was a better option but it took time and there was not change in the daily menu. Excursions offered by Carnival had too many people per bus and were too expensive. Local private options were more comfortable and much cheaper. Missed the bagels/cream cheese and lox room service breakfast option (a lot). Missed the table cloths in the dining room and the midnight buffet. The customer service desk was pretty much useless and crowded.

Very spacious, clean and well designed.

Ship tip

This was quite different from the Carnival Caribbean cruises but some cruisers thought that it was still party city. We could have been happy without the loud heavy drinkers.

I love Carnival.

Wow....Well, we sail this ship in July 2017. I guess everyone has a right to their opinion, but I'm looking forward to sailing the Vista for myself and developing my own opinions. I personally can't see it being that bad, It's all in how you view things. I still say Carnival is great! 😊

Let's all just grab our composure and move on. It's just a piece of cloth

I amazed at how many people have mentioned the table clothes. I wonder if that will be changed when we sail next March.

Table cloths, really. Perhaps as a symbol of protest we should all gather together in solidarity and have a sit in. We can lay table cloths on the dining room floor and insist on being served. I wonder what they will get rid of next? Butter perhaps? What will I do?
