Even though I didn't like the ship layout we had a blast. Roatan Honduras and Cozumel Mexico was wonderful. Skyride is not what it's cracked up to be

This was my first cruise and reviews from others made me very worried about the Carnival Vista. Fortunately I had no negative experiences. I spent lots of time on deck 5 enjoying the views and even getting a little nap in. Always felt I could get away from the hoardes of people when I wanted to and I enjoyed my first cruise very much and was everything I was hoping for.

Up until we got sick, and then the debarkation issues, this was an absolutely perfect cruise. I would sail on Vista again in a heartbeat and I would try to do a lot more of the activities, especially early in the cruise. Just in case ...

My review would be 5 star, but for the fact that I caught a norovirus, along with about 100 other people who posted on our Facebook page...who knows how many others didn’t report it....but...with that said, this was an excellent ship and cruise and I like Carnival...definitely a “ fun ship” and will cruise them in the future...I was spoiled by being in the Havana area...it was worth every penny!!! So I will give it 4 stars and remind you to wash your hands until your skin falls off so you don’t get sick...definitely go to the steakhouse, the Italian restaurant and Bonsai sushi...tip your steward and servers...these people work hard and are wonderful people! If the sky ride is not functioning, not to worry, there is plenty of other stuff to do!! Have a great time!!

Despite some issues we still had a wonderful time. I would return with fewer expectations. Matt was the CD. He was friendly and energetic. You saw his serious side with the disembarking problems and it was a reminder that all staff have to step up when there is an emergency.

This was a group cruise with a total of eight in our group. Great time, lots to do onboard and service was amazing as always.

Can’t wait to take another Carnival Cruise in the near future. Worth my Money and Time.

It was a pleasant cruise. We didn’t do too much at ports. So lots of relaxing. We never felt crowded and hardly waited in lines. The casino wasn’t anymore Smokey than any other casino. Beautiful ship! Loved Matt the cruise director!

We love the Vista! Has great wheelchair access, lots to do and a great staff.

This was our second time on the Vista! We enjoy this ship. I was sad they’re not serving Starbucks coffee anymore. But some of the best sushi ever!!

All the ships activities were great. The cruise director was outstanding. Buffets were nothing to brag about. We were not prepared for a ship full of unattended children with bad manners and parents who thought the ship was there babysitter. We were on the Freedom last year the exact same dates with no where near the problems we encountered on this cruise. It was sad to see unattended children in the movie theater where one was scared due to the violence of the movie and the younger one sound asleep. Stricter rules need to be enforced about parents who are dumping their children off unattended at places who are so young.

Had a perfect week! Shout out to Adrian, Shakes and Ivory in the Effy jewelry shop! Love them to pieces! Helped me pick out something I will cherish forever and made me feel part of their family!

Pros: Early embarkation, great service and food in main dining room, excellent food in Cucina Del Capitano. Cons: Black, oily soot from exhaust in Tides Pool and on deck area. Sewer smell near Havana Bar on Deck 5.

I love every cruise I’ve been on but cruising on the vista has been my least favorite.

You wake up every day with a choice. I chose to do as little or as much as I want each day. I chose to enjoy each day of my vacation. This is my 3rd time on Vista. Once out of New York and Twice out of Galveston. Carnival Vista is Amazing with CD Matt and Super Amazing with CD Kendell Fire. Steakhouse, Jiji's, Alchemy , Deli and Room Service never disappoint.

We really enjoyed this cruise. The ports were great.

Had a wonderful time on our cruise. We left Galvestion on Oct. 12th. Was glad to see the ship already decorated for Halloween. The crew were all friendly. The food was good and the activities we took part in were really fun.

It was really an amazing cruise every one was really nice now I did play a lot in the casino and your host there she isn't too nice had over 8000 points didn't get nothing for that but I guess everyone can't be nice your cruise director she is awesome and Shae is amazing too

There have been so many mixed reviews on the Vista, but we truly lived everything about it. This was our 12th cruise and once again, no disappointments. Go cruising with an open mind and you will see things in a good manner. Even though I fell on the first day and hurt my back, I still managed to enjoy myself (although I was limited in what I could do). I did not let it ruin our fun!

Many activities, good food, great service. Will return to Carnival.
