Review summary

My review would be 5 star, but for the fact that I caught a norovirus, along with about 100 other people who posted on our Facebook page...who knows how many others didn’t report it....but...with that said, this was an excellent ship and cruise and I like Carnival...definitely a “ fun ship” and will cruise them in the future...I was spoiled by being in the Havana area...it was worth every penny!!! So I will give it 4 stars and remind you to wash your hands until your skin falls off so you don’t get sick...definitely go to the steakhouse, the Italian restaurant and Bonsai sushi...tip your steward and servers...these people work hard and are wonderful people! If the sky ride is not functioning, not to worry, there is plenty of other stuff to do!! Have a great time!!

555 Fahrenheit was exceptional and Cucina del cpitano was very good!, Breakfast in buffet very good as well as Formal night dining in Horizons! Desserts, however, on the entire ship were terrible!!

Onboard Activities

Sky ride was good...great view, but it was strenuous through some parts....only good for people in really good shape...as well as the slides...had to carry a tube up 4 flights of stairs...wasn’t easy....then the yellow slide, I was moving so fast, it felt like I was on a roller coaster!! Made me a little sick, but that’s my problem...it wasn’t boring that’s for sure!!

Havana Pool

Cant believe how great the service was here...Yeltsin our server came to us in the pool and hot tubs and took our drink order!!

Vista Atrium

The Atrium was beautiful and I loved the violinists! We enjoyed getting a drink here before dinner!

I liked the layout....because I was in the Havana area, we spent a lot of time on Deck 5....turns out there is a lot happening on this deck!!

We had Faster to the fun and our room was ready as soon as we boarded....about 11:30....the room was always spotless!!

Apparently the computers were down AND the gangway was broken......they said we could wait in our rooms, but then the steward kicked us out, so we went and sat in Bonsai sushi until Deck 5 was called...It seemed chaotic, but really wasn’t....we got a porter to take our bags and he bypassed all of the lines...we were on the road by 10am
