Review summary

The best part about this trip was the shore excursions! Naples and Marseille were our favorites - The best of the Amalfi Coast and A Day in Cassis. The most unbelievable sights I've ever seen.

The ship is clean and has everything you could want. The only downside is that they do charge for most of the restaurants. Believe me, the extra $15 per person is totally worth it. The Japanese, steakhouse and Italian were amazing and we went back more than once! Service is far above the dining room.

Only complaint about the ship is for the staff - they do not anticipate needs. Other than that, they are friendly and prompt.

Bring a multi outlet plug in (if it is allowed). Only two plugs in the entire room. Order room service the night before for excursions.

The best of the Amalfi Coast is breathtaking! Be weary if you get sick in car/bus - lots of zig zag driving through the mountains...but the view is worth it!

We did the Day in Cassis and fell in love with the fishing port. Take the ferry tour for $12 to see the gorgeous white cliffs and beaches.

Flaminco show was incredible (tapas were not as good) but we enjoyed the old mansion and the ride along the coast. They stopped at a lookout for pictures...amazing!

Booked 7 tours privately on my Vista trip. Shore excursions group...tours of Capri (absolutely worth having THIS company...they meet you at the ship and take care of EVERYTHING if you're going to Capri...we were inside the blue grotto 90 minutes after we left the ship) answer Italy shore drivers...fantastic... half the price of CCL and 4-8 people..can customize on the fly based on your desires.

If in Naples found to Capri for day. You can easily so yourself. Ferry is right beside cruise ship. We booked through ship and girl beside me on ferry bought ticket herself for fraction of price. This is if you want to so Capri on own which is totally doable. Then book blue grotto from the many options on Capri harbour. My two cents.

For Marseille we booked with Tours in Provence. For all 3 Italy ports we booked with Joe Banana Limos. For Rhodes Greece its with Rhodes taxi and Limo Service and Kusadasi its with Shore excursion Kusadasi. I can't speak for any of the companies as of yet, we do not go till September 3ed.

@jadensplace1, don't book through ccl if you can help it. Look at viator, Expedia and you can find reviews of local company excursions on trip advisor. The cruise line always costs more!

I thought there were certain restaurants that's inclusive? Extra $15 for? @janh1401charternet what tour company? This is my first cruise & was afraid of some of the stories i had read. But definitely would like to save some money lol. I had booked my shore excursions through ccl already. If I cancel maybe I can rebook through local service too

We are going Sept. 3, excited! I have pre-booked excursions from 6 of the ports from local services. They beat the ship prices and are private tours, with just our group of 6. It has taken a lot of research to find the companies that have the best reviews, but hope it is going to be worth the effort! We do have the Cassis and Amalfi coast in our list of tours and can't wait to see them.
