Little different on the pool deck than most carnival ships. They have like a balcony area overlooking pool that has lots of shade. Very cool we thought.

you must be proficient using an Iphone or you will be lost in everything, ie: menus, activities, drills etc. If you do not have an IPHONE do NOT book this ship.T

If on-board communication is needed within a group, best to get best Internet option on every phone and use WhatsApp. Chat is a complete fail. Even with internet expect frequent wifi drop and even logout of the app. IT needs complete redo.

Be prepared to add on so much money to your base rate. Prepaid gratuities, Drink Package, Drinks even though you have the package, premium dinning, bingo, etc.

Loved all the nooks and crannies with places to sit and relax. Smoke free casino was a nice touch

Bring a big hat because there are not a lot of shady spots to sit.

Honestly be tolerant of people's attitudes, that we, my husband and I avoid. Alot of kids between 17-20 running around without supervision. Just aware and kept to ourselves to avoid the craziness of kids running amuck after midnight.

Bring all things you like and bring all you need like candy, liquor, water pouches and laynard. It costly on the ship.

Be patient with the elevator system. People don’t know how to use them and it creates a horrible initial experience. If you can use the steps that is your best bet. It gets better as time goes on, but can still be a struggle at times.

Expect a lot of screaming kids in the common area of the ship.

Don’t expect it to be like a typical Carnival cruise. Good if you like to sit in the shade and not go in the pool. Need patience for all the lines.
