If you do not like noise do not get mid ship deck 8 . My third cruise and I never was that high . Mostly deck 6 . But it was very nosy at times but close to the food and action at the pool . I felt more movement but that did not bother me but if you get sea sick you may want a lower deck .

Stay as close to the ninth floor as possible. Know about restaurant dining options. Buffets barely OK.

The gym was great too. I managed to go 2 times. Serenity deck for 21+ was relaxing. It was very windy and the seas were rough the first 4 days. We had a great time!

Don't cruise Carnival Valor or Carnival at all until they start to once again value guests experiences with undamaged cleaned rooms , no sewage smell , no rude crew members and show more respect! especially to Gold members!!

If you have been on ANY Carnival ship, you will easily know your way around this one. Nothing new or exciting. Just different "wallpaper, drapes, and carpet."

The crew do help the handicap , but the cruisers do not respect the handicap, I feel in there nightly news letter there should be a reminder about the handicap to the cruisers. Also to the handicap who the rent the scooters and never operated one before, take a class before your board the ship.

The serenity deck was very nice and was exclusively for adults. If you like to get away from the loud music at the other pool, the serenity deck was nice. This ship had lots of lounge chairs so there was never a problem finding a place to sit/lay out.
